July 4th Weekend 2003 - Pat Gillespie and her Morgan mare Goldtree Amy Boone attended the Heritage Classic Horseshow in Athens, TX. Good friend and club member Laura Ward came along to help and navigated on the pleasure marathon.  The Heritage Classic is primarily a Morgan Breed show, however the carriage division is open to all breeds.  We had a really successful show especially since it was only our second time competing at a USAE pleasure driving show. Amy Boone placed 2nd in Reinsmanship and in Pick your own Route-- we also had a personal best on the dressage test.
