Moving the OHHA CDE to Stillwater, Oklahoma is a big undertaking. However, the decision to move the CDE was seen as a way to have this event grow. Stillwater is a big college town and offers the Payne County Expo Center.
The Expo Center
features permanent stabling and RV hookups. To
The Expo Center is also within a one hour drive of Tulsa and Oklahoma City (Oklahoma's 2 largest cities). This will make it easier for volunteers to make it to the venue. Stillwater also has numerous hotels, motels, and restaurants within minutes of the Expo Center. Though this move is for many good reasons -- it is also a very expensive move. Land has to be cleared and hazards have to be built. This is in addition to all the other "normal" costs of putting on a CDE. We need your help to make this a success.
