Stable Opens: Thurs. 2 pm; No Early Arrivals on Competition Grounds; Secretary’s Office Opens: Fri. 12 Noon; Course Walk and Briefings: Fri. 4 pm; Presentation: On the Move; Dressage: Sat. 8 am; Marathon: Sun. 9 am; Cones: Sat. 30 minutes following Competitors’ Dressage Time; Social Events: Fri. Competitor Soup & Potluck Dinner 6:30 pm located in the Community Building/free will donations welcome; Sat. Competitor Social Hour & Catered Dinner located in the Community Building - 5:30 pm Social Hour and Dinner to start serving at 6:30 pm; Silent Auction will open Fri. evening and run all day Sat. with bids closing at 6:30 pm.; Anyone who would like to donate items for the silent auction are asked to turn items into the event office upon arrival. Awards for best dressage and cones will be presented Sat. Evening; Sun. Cowboy Church, 7 am, located in the Community Building.
Dressage
Test(s): Training: Test #4 (1994); Preliminary: Test #6 (2005); Intermediate: Test #4 (1994); All dressage tests will be held in a 40 m x 80 m ring; VSE’s - Training and Preliminary Entries Only - Will be held in a 20m x 40m ring. Ring/Warm-up Footing: Grass / Grass Other Dressage Info: Presentation will be on the move and vet check will be observed during dressage test.
Marathon
Terrain: Tree lined trails, rolling hills, road crossings, bridge and culvert crossings, some gravel, dirt and possible water crossings; VSE per ADS rules. Level: Training; 3 Sections; 9-10 km; 4-5 Obstacles Level: Preliminary; 3 Sections; 11-13 km; 5-6 Obstacles Level: Intermediate; 3 Sections; 13-16 km; 6-7 Obstacles
Cones
Ring/Warm-up Footing: Grass / Grass: Training Level- Clearance: 40 cm and may be ‘U’ &/or ‘L’; Preliminary Level- Clearance 35cm and may be ‘U’ &/or ‘L’ & Bridge; Intermediate Level- Clearance 30 cm and may be ‘U’ &/or ‘L’ & Bridge
CLINIC
Mary Ruth Marks Clinic: OHHA will be hosting a clinic with Mary Ruth Marks on
Monday, October 29th, following the CDE. Clinic location will be at the
Stillwater Expo/Fairgrounds, the site of the CDE. The clinic will consist of
8, 50 minute private sessions at $75.00 each. This will be an excellent
opportunity for you to receive instruction after the CDE. Hazards will be
available to drive for lesson instruction if desired. Mary Ruth is very well
versed in driving singles and combinations of multiples. Auditing is free and
will be open to the public. Clinic slots are limited (8 slots) and are
offered on a first come/first reserved basis. Payment must be made at the

a cancellation is necessary and will either forfeit the $75.00 or it will be
your responsibility to find another participant to take your slot. A waiting
list will be kept if interest exceeds the slot numbers available.
Other Information
Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date MUST be mailed with entry form and out of state horses are required to have a 30 day veterinary health inspection certificate upon arrival to event.
Stabling Information: Covered barn area. No parking of trucks or trailers will be allowed in the fire lane on the east side of the stabling area. Unloading is permitted if done quickly. Parking in fire lanes is prohibited and WILL be strictly enforced. Tack stalls recommended since trailer parking is not adjacent to stabling. Trailer/camper parking will be on a first come/first served basis.

Misc. Show info: Dogs must be leashed at all times. ALL horses/ponies must be stalled. Entry must include a copy of ADS membership card. Safety helmets required per ADS rules. Navigators and drivers may go more than once if schedule allows, BUT the second drive must be HC. HC entry must be driven after the competing entry. It is the competitors’ responsibility to secure a navigator. All participants (whips/grooms/navigators/ passengers) MUST sign competitors release form prior to competition and entering carriage. Awards Offered: Ribbons to 6th place for each class. Awards and ribbons for Best Dressage, Best Marathon, Best Cones and Overall Division Winners; Breed Awards Pending. Anyone who would like to sponsor a breed award please contact either Linda Johnson or Deryn Stewart.
Food Available on the Grounds: Yes, concessions stand will be available throughout the day.

Directions to Show: Payne County Expo Center/Fairgrounds is located 3 miles east of Stillwater, Oklahoma on Hwy. 51; Located on the corner of Hwy. 51 and Fairground Rd. on the north side. Stillwater, OK is located approximately 16 miles east of Interstate 35.

Golf
Carts are available at $130.00 for the three day weekend beginning Friday AM
through Sunday PM. They are in very limited supply,
so first come/first reserved. If you are wanting a golf cart (and I have been
told that they will all be gas powered), please contact Linda Johnson at:

Payment will be needed to confirm the reservation. If you should need to

will be kept if demand exceeds quantity of carts available in case any
cancellations should arise.
